Now she's actually called “new Carola”,
Sandra. She has hit like a bomb and
ravages now on the charts in Europe.
|
“She has recently completed an extensive
Sweden-tour if everything went without a
hitch, and at any time, her first solo album
will come.
- Everything is Michael's merit, Sandra says
humbly. Without him, I had not been anything –
he helps me with the songs, he makes it
comfortable in the studio for me and he
produces the records.
Michael is named, as probably most know, Cretu
in surname, the Romanian song writer and top
producer, who from his studio in Munich has
thrown out lots of disco hits the last years,
for instance with the Goombay Dance Band, and
who now is in the middle of a career with his
girlfriend from the last three years – Sandra!
Michael is my biggest support, she says. He
knows how I function and what I want to do.

Michael Cretu has during the autumn had an
own hit with the single “Samurai”, but after
all it's Sandra's career which is most
important. Miss Lauer has in fact the odds
on her side – she could be an artist to be
reckoned with internationally, at least here
in Europe.
The launch abroad has begun in Sweden with a
tour and concerts in eight locations,
“Nojesmassakerns” studio in Stockholm not
counting. Now she continues in the rest of
the world and stakes everything to get the
success she dreamt of ever since the time
with the group Arabesque.
I'm starting with Sweden, since the audience
there has given me such a fantastic support,
says Sandra. And I will gladly come back –
the Swedish fans are really wonderful!
Well, she's not so stupid herself either,
little Sandra. And if the debut LP does very
well in the charts, which it looks like,
then she will be established seriously.
Sandra Lauer is about to become a European
superstar!”
