Sandra
already had been very happy on this tour. But she was very excited, when
the Pilot has take the course to Moscow: five out-of-stock concerts in
"Olympisky Hall" in Moscow, which usually has placed 40 000
people! For reasons of safety, it is sold "only" 27 000 tickets,
that security could restrain a storm of fans. Moreover the public should
obediently stay on their chairs. It was a little strange for Sandra who
was in USSR for first time. She has got used that her fans stand directly
near of a stage. The russian fans coped with it and were perfectly dismissed
during 75 minutes shows - but only in the first evening - they attacked with enthusiasm the stage for the superstar. Then the security measures would
have strengthen in the next evenings. Despite of it Sandra was heaped
by flowers and soft children toys, especially, when she has surprised
with several russian words "Thank" "I love you!".
She conquered the hearts of the Soviet fans, storming a stage, and at
once got from young Russian the pet name. They called blandly their loved
star just as „Sandrinka“. And one of Soldiers even gave her his holiday
army cap with the red Soviet flag. While Sandra with her group - Frank
Peter (Keyboards, guitar, singing), Hanni Hansen (percussion instruments),
Tom Leonhart (Keyboards, singing) - acted on a round stage in middle of
a hall, each evening she should finish with the especially difficult dancing
and choreographic programme. But already by the first three songs "We'll
be together", "Hi Hi Hi" und "Little Girl" she
conquered the public with triumphal procession. Each and all Sandra’s
hits as "Stop For A Minute", "Around My Heart", "Loreen",
"Innocent Love" , "Heaven Can Wait", "La Vista
de Luna", "Secret Land" or of course "Maria Magdalena"
and "In The Heat Of The Night", as was found out, not only fans
in Japan can sing but also in Moscow. |

After
so much action Sandra of course was worn out and glad on evening after
Concert when she was again in Hotel "Sovjetskaja". Here she
lived in hotel lux-suite 401 with three big rooms when usually VIP visitors
of state are accommodated. The hotel is protected strenuously. Evenings
Sandra played, as a last resort, with her team one more round card game "Mau-May" before she came to
bed. Of course, the walking on red place and visiting on mausoleum of Lenin, where founder of state is found in glassy sarcophagus, especially made an impression
on Sandra in her Moscow-Tour. There is total taboo for photosessions there. Sandra couldn’t
look over the firm GUM gently. She was knew right away and surround by autograph hunters and she must hide. She bought the special present for her man Michael Cretu: the Paul McCartney’s LP „Back to the USSR“ in which
he included the classic Rock 'n' Roll songs and compiled specially for
Russian fans. The Russian organizer "Gosconcert" found the team
of 15 people together with 10 people from Minich’s firm “Soundlab” plus the equipment for the technical
equipment of Sandra’s huge show. The price for one evening was ten roubles (about
DM 30), at that the take-home-pay is 180 roubles per month |
