01. Invisible Man: We heard nothing about you about 17 years. Could you tell us about you. How was your destiny after your leave from Rouge band? Did you record any new songs after your leaving from this group? Did you take a part in any joint musical projects?
Michaela: After my music-career, I'd started to intensify my interests in metaphysical things. I studyed methods of relaxing mind+body, like REIKI (jap. REI=God, King KI=Energy) and the Massage with tibetan resonating bowls. Also the spiritual method of "looking behind the human curtain" with Numerology+Tarot, was on my list. Now I'm working as a Reiki-Master + Lifecoach, giving Massages and Counselings. But for sure, is music still a big part in my life! I'm still working in different projects, like a kind of Jazz-Standards+Evergreens with my Life-Partner, who is a very good Jazz-Pianist, and now also with Stephen Folkers in his project "THE STOLEN DIAMONDS" with Disco-Hits of the 70', 80', 90'. All of this is giving me a lot of fun!!!

02. Invisible Man. We remember you as singer from Arabesque, as singer the greatest ballads like "Born to reggae", "I stand by you", "Love is just a game", "The only night was a lonely night". Why the Arabesque band is end? Because Sandra left this group or because the contract with producers and record company was end?
Michaela: 1985 ended the contract of Arabesque and our producers didn't renew it because also the music-style had changed from Disco-Pop into New Wave.

03. Invisible Man: Who is created the beautiful stage costumes for Arabesque band? It was some of participants of this group or special designer of clothe?
Michaela: We've had a special german Designer named Herbert Ehrhardt.

04. Invisible Man: Are there any unpublished Arabesque songs in the world, as, for example, song "Rock'n'Roll Fan" that were released lately in compilation "Best of Arabesque vol. 3" on Monopol Records?
Michaela: I don't know anything about unpublished songs.

05. Invisible Man: Where were more Appearances of Arabesque band except Germany and Japan?
Michaela: Austria, Switzerland, Benelux-States.

06. Invisible Man: Rouge-group recorded and released in Europe some successful singles like "I wanna take your body", "Hold on", "Love line operator", "Remember The Leader Of The Pack". Why the complete album has not been released in that time?
Michaela: Because we changed the company and producers.

07. Invisible Man: As we saw in several video clips and performances of Rouge, that we have, the basic song vocal belongs to Jasmine. What was the cause of it?
Michaela: The song-vocals were always divided in Vers and Refrain, so that every one of us had the sequel share on it.

08. Invisible Man: Did the Rouge band participate in any music festivals/contests (except 18th Tokio Music Festival)? If "yes", in which?
Michaela: No others.

09. Invisible Man: Why the Rouge group has split?
Michaela: Same reason like Arabesque in 1985, change of music-style.

10. Invisible Man: Do you have connection with your former colleagues: Sandra Cretu & Jasmin Vetter?
Michaela: No.

11. Invisible Man: Had you any offers from producers/record companies about continuation of the work in Arabesque/Rouge bands?
Michaela: Yes, but I wasn't interested in this time to go on with same concepts.

12. Invisible Man: Do you plan comeback to the big stage?
Michaela: Well, we'll see...

13. In your appearance in Frankfurt the blonde Edina Pop is taking part. Will she replace Jasmine?
Michaela: The project "THE STOLEN DIAMONDS" is a new project, so nobody will replace anyone.

14. You worked with Sandra for a long time. What feelings to her did you have after she left the group? Do you think her solo career is successfull?
Michaela: Jasmin and Sandra were good colleagues during our working times, but we all are very different characters, so every one of us was and is living their own lifes and careers. Arabesque started 1977 with me and two other girls (so I'm the only member-founder). After having our first big success in Japan with our first Single "Hello Mr. Monkey" (and first golden record), the two other girls became pregnant and one was replaced by Jasmine and an other girl, after this one also became pregnant (..as you can see, we were very "fertile"..), she was replaced by Sandra (1979). In this formation we stayed together till 1985.

15. How do you like the new single of Sandra and DJ Bobo "Secrets Of Love"?
Michaela: Sorry, haven`t heard it till now.

16. During your work in Arabesque and Rouge, did you know that you will become a legendary classic singer of Disco and Hi-Energy?
Michaela: During this period we were working so hard, that nobody was thinking about these kind of things.

17. Peter Neuman: What about the single "I wanna take your body"? Why was this single deleted before releasing and replaced with "Hold On"?
Michaela: Producers and fans decision, after performing it several times.

18. Are you still involved with music business?
Michaela: Yes, as I told before...

19. Are you going to release new song as solo or unit?
Michaela: Top secret!!!!

20. What do you think about the period of being the member of Arabesque?
Michaela: For sure it was an amazing time for a young girl and I still have the nicest memories of it.

21. What is best memory of being the member of Arabesque?
Michaela: Looking back it gave me the great possibility to enlarge my horizon in a big measure!

22. What do you like Arabesque's song best?
Michaela: Oh, there are some: Marigot Bay, Rock me, Sunset in NY, Why no reply, Lucifer's Lover...

23. Have you ever visited the Arabesque fan sites on the internet?
Michaela: I'm not so involved in computer techniques, but I've seen some.

24. Can you speak a little about your private life?
Michaela: As you could see in my first answer, I'm very interested in spirituel things.

25. How do you feel? How's your health?
Michaela: Well, it still works... haha

26. Where do you live?
Michaela: I'm living in Frankfurt.

27. What do you do for living?
Michaela: My spirituel work and singing.

28. What is your favourite parfume? Your favuorite flowers?
Michaela: "ENVY ME" Gucci, "TEINT DE NEIGE" Lorenzo Villoresi. Wild roses and tulips.

29. How do you usually spend your free time?
Michaela: With voyaging and reading.

30. Does your husband concern music?
Michaela: My Life-Partner is Jazz-Pianist...

31.Do you have children and what do they do?
Michaela: Unfortunally no children, but I'm the auntie of the children of some friends.

Now I want to thank my fans for their interest and send them my regards and blessings!

LIGHT+LOVE
MICHAELA
